This training will focus on building a baseline knowledge of systems-change sexual assault response teams (SARTs). The training will also provide SARTs with the knowledge and tools for effective multidisciplinary teamwork. We will use the SVJI resource, “A Ten Factor Framework for Sexual Assault Response Team Effectiveness,” as the foundation.
  1. Discuss systems-change SARTs.
  2. Learn about the internal and external factors for SART effectiveness.
Fatima Jayoma, Rural Projects Coordinator
Fatima joined the Sexual Violence Justice Institute at the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault in May of 2020. As the Rural Projects Coordinator, Fatima connects with and supports rural communities in improving their response to sexual violence. She provides training and technical assistance across the United States and Territories. Fatima earned her BA in Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies, BA in Social Work, and Master’s in Social Work from the University of Iowa.
